Two years ago, a revolution shook Mexico. The near forty year rule of Porfirio Diaz came to end, a revolution that you helped make successful under the leadership of the Francisco Madero, who you soon elected president. His presidency has been one of difficulties, false promises and the occasional counter revolution, but he was the first honest man Mexico had seen. That is now over, a failed coup turned successful at the intervention of Victoriano Huerta, has resulted in Madero dead at the hands of the traitor Huerta. Now the democracy you had fought for is hanging by a thread.
